What will the cities of the future be like?

vertical Melbourne
Experts from the design bureau John Wardle Architects argue that in 100 years, Australian Melbourne will become unrecognizable. According to their project, the city will not grow in breadth, as is the case with all modern cities, but up and down. Underground and airways will acquire enormous importance for the economy. And what is most surprising, a huge transparent roof will be stretched over the territory of the entire city. It will be used to harvest water, generate energy, and grow food.
